Except for Eitel, the Kaiser's sons were all a bit chinless, particularly the Crown Prince and Joachim (it is noticeable that you just don't see photographs of them in profile!)

The chinlessness seems to have been an inheritance from Queen Victoria, who was very noticeably chinless.

Very much a Hannoverian trait. And the older the children get, the more Hannoverian they look, witness Anne and Charles for example. Even Prince William, imho, has matured from a really good looking teen and young man to what appears to be the emergence of his Hannoverian genes!

Genes are funny things. There is a set of eyebrows which has come down through five generations of my mother's family. I have them, and will have to look more closely at the children of my cousins to see if they have them as well.

Princess Margaret, who was stunningly gorgeous as a young woman, looked very Hanovarian in older age...
Of course, all that drinking and puffing away on ciggys didn't help her skin age well either....

Yes, VL's brother Eitel seemed to appear to prefer the company of men. there had been rumors about him prior to his marriage, and he and his wife were childless and they were divorced after about 20 years in a marriage in which they rarely saw each other.

However, i have seen no credible evidence that Joachim was not heterosexual.
