Do they have a geneology map of the family. I found it quite confusing following the many lines...

Yes Eric, you´re right, no books about these younger line of family. But we could here gather some informations and pictures of various members of the family, couldn´t we?
We could start with Maximilian Joseph Thurn und Taxis (1769-1831), founder of the younger branch. Maximilian married Princess Eleonore von Lobkowicz (1770-1834), he inherited some properties in Bohemia and in 1820 he permanently settled here.
Maximilian and Eleonore had six sons, three of them were married and founded their own branches and I think all six brothers served in army.
Sons were:
Karl Anselm (1792-1844), married with Countess Marie Isabella von und zu Eltz
August (1794-1862)
Joseph (1796-1857)
Karl Theodor (1797-1868), married with Countess Juliana von Einsiedel
Friedrich (1799-1857), married with Countess Aurora Batthyany
Wilhelm (1801-48, killed in battle near Vicenza)
