Dear all,
My name is Gabriel, and I just discovered that forum and that there are many Queen experts here.

I'm working for a brand that will make a gift to the Queen for her BDAY. I'm in charge of this project and I would be grateful if somebody could help me on resolving these:
-Do you know her favorite colours?
-Is there a specific design often used for her birthday?
-Is there a idea linked to her birth (shape of anything, colour, special anecdote)?

Hope I'm not disturbing the discussion (I know how it is, I use forums on other topics... )

Thank you very much!

For color, I'd recommend using her much loved racing colours.  The Queen uses the racing colours which were also used by King Edward VII and George IV. These consist of a purple body with gold braid, scarlet sleeves and black velvet cap with a gold fringe.

I don't know of any particular design or shape that might be linked specifically to HM's birth.  However, I do know that she often wears broaches and tiaras with a bow design, so she must favor that shape.

ROYAL FAMILY SEEK PRIVACY IN NATAL NATIONAL PARK - After nearly a month of continous travel in the Royal train, the Royal Family drove into Drakensberge National Park, South Africa, a flower and game sanctuary, to enjoy three day's rest, March 14, 1947. Our picture shows: An informal study of the Royal Family made during their stay in the Natal National Park, with the Drakensberge mountains seen in background, with Gen. Smuts, South African prime minister. King George VI, Queen Elizabeth I and the two princesses - Elizabeth (left) and Margaret (right) show great interest in Gen. Smuts' Weston master exposure meter which he is adjusting before making a movie of Their Majesties with his Kodak cine camera. (AP-Photo/wor/stf)
