Ii just saw on TV on that when people in1800-1900 travell they used to have with them a litlle bag (it could be really beautiful look outside too) where was intimistuff sucs as brush, toothbrush and other toiletstuff. They used to have a litle dish wchich remains a litle saucedish but it was really for ladyes to make pee without going anywhere. Fonder if OTMA had one .. any photos?

Sounds like a carpet bag or valise to me. They were small enough to carry around items like that. I've never seen a picture of the royal family with them although they were probably were part of their luggage. Most likely servants or ladies maids held onto them whilst they were traveling.

Hmm... What I saw they were pretty fancy. For example at the burs the bacside of it was really beautifully made (looked like a silver but probelby was something else metal..)and there was skilful engraving (if I remember right it was shape of a letter). The bac also includes a pincer to use of getting a glove longer.. It seems to me that kind of things was use by richer peoples. The bag could be made of crocotile-leather.   It would be really exiting to see what kind of IF had.
