Interestingly Wilhelmine Amalia was a Princess of Hanover, and therefore a cousin of George II. I don't think anyone pick up that yet...

Yes, and it's curious that Wilhelmine Amalia also descended from the Stuarts, as her mother Benedikte Henriette of the Palatinate was a great-granddaughter of King James I of England. So she was doubly related to England's Hannoverian monarchs.

So her daughters who married into the Saxon and Bavarian Royal Houses also carried Suart and Hannoverian bloodlines into their family. Especially her grandaughter, Marie Josephe, who married the French Dauphin (who was a decendent of Minette).
