I've always liked Tommy Lee Jones; a long good career.

Saw the film "In Bruges" last night. Choice between it and "No country for old men".

I wasted $15.50 on No Country for Old Men, the first 3/4 of the movie was good, the last 1/4 was terrible with a abrupt ending, all the movie critics ramble on how the Coen brothers have made a five star movie, my advice read the last 6 pages of the book, if you go and see it.

Daniel Day Lewis is an incredible actor but kind of scary in his intensity.

Best James Bond?

Sean Connery!

I never thought so, but my husband is in favor of Roger Moore.

To me Roger Moore and the others were too debonaire in a slightly soft, almost feminine manner. Connery was all man and he seemed to exude what all those Bond girls would fall for...rough, tough but handsome and the perfect lover to boot.

How about Agnes Moorehead? Sensational in Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte.

OH MY GOD!! Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte scared the wits out of me when I was little! I saw severed heads everywhere. I think I spent about a month sleeping in my Mom's room after that treat. Now I watch it and smile - I love Bette Davis.

How about Cagney in White Heat? Top of the world Ma!

Agnes Moorhead was also in a Twilight Zone episode that I loved.

Not one word is spoken through out the whole show.

She plays a rural farm type housewife, (late 19th or early 20th century) who is awakened in the night by something that lands on her roof.

The whole show revolves around her trying to first, find our what it is and then second, trying to kill it.  It turns out to be a very tiny "spacecraft" and very tiny "spacemen" in air suits.  They are not much more that four inches tall and she is a giant.

Their "ray guns" only bring up bumps on her skin like bee stings.

She is not educated about any of this and only knows that these tiny things are trying to hurt her.  She finally climbs up to the roof of her cottage and beats the "space ship" to pieces with a home made straw broom.

The last thing we see is a small saucer shaped space ship with "US AIR FORCE" printed on the side and the only words in the whole show are spoken as a voice from inside the ship tell its "home base" that the planet is no good for investigation and that the local residents are hostile.

I loved the original Twilight Zone and many many of our current well know actors (William Shatner and Robert Redford to name two) got a start on that show and some who were on the edge of becoming "has beens' got another shot.

Bette Davis and Joan Crawford starred in the movie, not Agnes Moorhead

Agnes was great in Bewitched, the TV series

You're thinking of Whatever Happened to Baby Jane...

That's a good one too!

Yankeegirl is right, you must be thinking of What Ever Happened to Baby Jane. Moorehead was most definitly in Hush Hush along with Olivia Dehaviland. She played Davis' maid and was nominated for an Academy award for her performance, but sadly lost. hence, she is among the celebratede group of nominates who should hve won, but did not.
