 In Australia the Oscars are televised on Monday night, a delayed telecast,
 No Country for Oid Men did not deserve the award for Best Picture

I did not like movie 30 days of Night, the vampires looked like Russian
restaurant waiters and it is too gory

I liked Michael Clayton.

It probably did not win because it was quite similar to A Civil Action ten years ago.

don't know that TV serial, but I have to admit that I has essentially boycotted TV since the time they took Dallas and Knots Landing off the air.  :(

Herr Kaiser, I whole heartily agree with you. TV has gone to heck in a hand basket since Knots Landing, Buffy and Xena were taken off. I loved Knots and NO ONE could play the manipulative B*%CH like Donna Mills. Alas, all the good TV is gone...except for CSI.

 I dislike CSI, House and Medium shows, bring back more comedy, even repeats of Seinfeld and Frasier  ;D

Just seeing the promos for TV medical shows makes me uninterested in watching since they are SO unrealistic. Docs that care that much?  ???  Hospitals that  really work?  ???
