1914,I would say.
Maybe Tatiana just made another hair style on that day. ;) I notice that polka dots shirts  that GD's wore in1914.  I also don't recall any 1915 photo on board the Standard. What do the others think?

Ah yes, I thought their last trip on their yacht was 1914 but the hair threw me off

Sunny and Kalafrana, I was very surprised, too. "Pravda" and "Komsomolskaya pravda" are different newspapers, the second one in 1990s was becoming very "yellow" and of course it wasn't already communist. My parents used to buy it in 1995)))) Unfortunately I was too little to read newspapers and wasn't mad on Romanovs yet!
blessOTMA, oh is it really rare? Well, so bad quality... Only that I have.

It is signed: "Here Olga is on "Standart" yacht with one of the officers".

Kassafrass, here is just another one of Olga with P.Voronov in the same polka-dot outfit from 1914 on board the Standart. The Grand Duchesses apparently wore those shirts during 1914.

But I truly understand you and your surprise, all of the Grand Duchesses changed many clothes and looked so different during their trips in 1914. Especially Maria. She both had her hair up and down. Many different outfits and hairstyles can be seen as well. One has to wonder.

Kind of sad seeing them have such fun on their yacht.   They have no idea of the horrors to come.

I have found that they are cousins of Anna Vyrubova, children of Nadežda Taneieva born 1862 and Dmitry Adol'fovich Eichler born 1854 , state councilor . You know the names of the two sons and some news about their lives ? thanks

Well according to one source:

"1896, just four years before her death, Queen Victoria with Tsar Nicholas II, her granddaughters Princess Louise of Wales, The Tsarina Princess Alix, and her Daughter in Law Princess Louise of Prussia with her daughters - Princess Margaret of Connaught, later Crown Princess of Sweden, and Princess Patricia of Connaught, who is in foreground seated on the pony carriage step holding a dog"

Me again! Who is the lady with the world's biggest and most fetching hat sitting next to the Tsar and Anna Vyrubova?
At first glance I thought her Xenia, but now I don't think it is her at all!

That's because it is Maria, and you can find them on the Tatiana photo and Maria photo threads at the top of their respected pages.
