One may noticed in the list of the princes's garden that numbered the surroundings the lost of Mon repos it was owned by the brother of Tsarina I could not remember without any shadow of a doubt her name,I think it was Maria Feodorovna, the wife Alexander II,the princess of Hess .

Her brother used to live in Russia and create fo his personal use this estate, outside the garden there was a chinese pavilion,a well-known statue of Vainamoinen(herebelow)...

This is the last thing I've found on Mon repos...*

I can not precise some more on his history trhough revolutionary wave and what is the real shape of all of it now(according to my readings it has been lost but nothing more is said...)so it is a mistery,if some could unveil the "secret",it would be great...it would also prove that some care for my writing and give not only time to read but also exchange informations...
Thanks,

There is also another great estate in the present one that is Sofievka which is now situated in Ukraine(little could you make out the park that used to exist before revolution,a gre is still waiting to do here...)

At the origin the park of the field was created to keep alive the beaty of the wife of the owner of teh seam one estate Mrs Sophie...(I still do not remember...poor memory)to sum up it has for aim ,to  embody  in an alive shape(nature)the beaty of the dear lost beloved...

After Sophalevka;Ekaterinhoff!
It was created for Catherine the 1rst ;after floods the  architect Leblond will alter the garden -made up in two parts with both of  gardens of flowers and of covered ways- then, the palace was gifted to princess Gagarin by Paul I in 1800.She embellished the estate by a lot of constructions :many pavilions ,bridges and a vauxhall.

The buildings in woods apparently the main palace burned in 1924 and was never reconstructed.

If someone find the shot of the wooden palace before its burning it woud be marvelous...
