I expect it is likely only ever to be available in a Russian version, unless someone out there with lots of time on their hands does it out of love (and not for money because it would have a limited reading audience and they wouldn't make money on it...)

Very difficult  well it takes time and practice you have the cyrillic system of writting with 33 cyrillic for further information view here. You have to learn the cyrillic system of writting first!!!! ;)

I'm in the process of learning it, and it's not that difficult...

Yeah, the cyrillic system is not that easy, but many of the letters are the same than in our alphabet, and as soon as you learned to recognise the others, it's easier.

What I find difficult so far is the pronounciation; that's much more difficult(for me), because many of the sounds must come from the back of the throat, and some letters are pronounced differently depending in front of what letter it is...

But I love it! It is very rewarding when you begin to understand a few words here and there! (I watched Russian Ark lately, and I was so happy to understand some words here and there!)

Your welcome I LOVE OTMA anytime. I thought it would be good to post a list of the cyrillic sounds and symobols for a head start for anyone learning Russian. I am glad you like it! ;)

Others said that Maria and Anastasia burned their diaries and letters at Tobolsk since they fear of having those in hands of the Bolsheviks. Is this true?

Amazing colored fotos  by the most wonderful Yelena Aleksandrovna. Endless thank you very much!

Anastasia burned all her diaries I think. Some people said these diaries maight be lost. Maria burned some of them too. It think there's only 3 diaries at GARF of Maria. I, unfortunately, don't remember the years.

Yes, according to Nicholas's diary on 9/22 April 1918, Maria and Anastasia both burned diaries upon Yakovlev's arrival in Tobolsk -- even before he announced the tsar was to be transferred. Unfortunately, Nicholas doesn't specify how many diaries each girl burned -- only the 1918 volumes, or more? I've always wondered if Anastasia burned ALL her diaries that night, or if the remaining volumes were simply lost.

"...Nickolai Dmitrievich Demenkov left on Saturday. I talked to him over the telephone. He was very happy to go. Do you remember, I sewed a shirt for him? I asked him about it and he said that he liked it very much and it was just his size... I am writing to you from Orchy's room. Mother is lying on the couch and Vladimir Nickolayevich is doing the electrical treatment to her..."
