HM The Queen,accompanied by TRH The Prince of Orange and Princess Maxima will attend the National Service of Remembrance
at the Nieuwe Kerk,Amsterdam after which Her Majesty and His Royal Highness The Prince of Orange will lay a wreath at the
National Monument at Dam Square,monday may 4th.
May 4th is our National Day of Remembrance of the dead of WW II and all wars and missions afterwards,both military and civilians.
HM insists on attending,as do TRH,it was unclear untill shortly if the ceremonies could go on as planned in light of a tightened security.
On tuesday may 5th we celebrate Liberation Day,everything will go on as planned.HM will attend the Liberation concert on the
Amstel river here in Amsterdam in the evening.

He will attend the Liberation Day festivities in Wageningen,the place the germans surrendered on may 5th 1945.
