Holiday Greeting from Russia
« on: December 21, 2005, 04:11:05 PM »
A friend from Russia sent me this e-greeting and I thought it was very cute. Click on each reindeer when the greeting starts  :).

Happy holidays everyone!

Dear Helen and Margarita,

THANK YOU - this is the cutest thing I have ever seen.

My Christmas tree is full of angeles from Russia, some I brought when I visited SP and the others I bought through e-bay.

Merry Christmas to everybody.

Could someone tell us something about Russian Christmas, I have read in several books, but I would like

Sorry, I do not know what happened - only half of my message went through.

So, I would like to know more how Christmas is celebrated in Russia.

Amelia

I suppose these things take a couple of years to get to Russia  ;). I have never actually seen it before this year...

Amelia,

George Hawkins (Georgiy) just wrote an article for our websiteabout Orthodox Christmas celebrations, if you would like to take a look:

Margarita,

Sorry, I do not have a photograph of my Christmas tree - I am not very good at high technology, and I do not have a digital camara, so I can not post a photo.  But it is a beautiful Christmas tree.

Helen,

Thanks so much - this article is what I was looking for and it gives a very good information what aa Oxtodox Christmas is.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL.
