Hello.
I hope nobody minds that I started a "new" topic about pictures of Maria as the old site has already 11 pages and because of that my computer can hardly load that site...
Once again, I hope nobody´s angry with me... :) :)

I think this one http://highway55.library.yale.edu/ROMANOVIMG/size4/D0105/1000204.jpg is nice too. Maria looks very beautiful when she has a serious expression on her face, I think...

Very nice.  I wonder why Tatiana is not dressed like her sisters?  She probably stayed in with her mother that day and did not feel like dressing up.  Anyway, one of my favorites is the picture of Maria in Romania when they were visiting the royal family to try to get Olga married.  She is seated and is off to the side.  I think this is in her "plump" days, which I think made her all the more pretty, like a child like doll.

I know this one is quite well known, but Maria looks just beautiful here...

there is a paper doll made for marie out of that pose. actually all the girls are.

This one is my favourite. Maria really stands out from her sisters in this one don't you think? I don't mean she doesn't in all the other ones, but her eyes are so gorgeous and they really shine through on camera.  :)



And here goes to show Marie's chunky cherub shape!
