Wow, fabulous pic.  After all these years I thought I had seen them all.  Thanks for posting this.  Do you know when and where this was taken?  I am guessing about 1916?

It was taken in 1915 or 1916 in Alexandra's formal reception room at the AP. Aliss Kande posted it first (actually, I posted it for her because she doesn't have a photo account) in the Rare Photos thread a month or so ago, and tian79 posted a clearer scan just a few days back. Aliss Kande got it from a Finnish magazine. I don't know tian79's source.

I'm sorry if I'm posting photos that are already posted elsewhere on the site, but I haven't seen them posted here, and thought you might enjoy them. They appeared in a French publication. I hope the photos aren't too large I can't seem to resize them. Don't you just hate computers sometimes? They can be so uncooperative.

Photo #1 Left to Right: Grand Duchess Olga Alexandrovna, Tzar Nicholas, Grand Duchess Xenia Alexandrovna, Grand Duke Alexander Mikhailovich "Sandro", Grand Duchess Tatiana Nicolaevna, Grand Duchess Olga Nicolaevna. Ai Tudor, Xenia & Sandro's estate in the Crimea, 1914.

Photo #2: Grand Duke Alexander Mikhailovich & Grand Duchess Tatiana Nicolaevna. Ai Tudor, 1914.

Karland Zita, many thanks for the 4th picture you posted, this of OTMAA at board of the Mejen in 1913, for their Tricentenary trip. Could you indicate me your soure? I am looking for more picture of this journey on the Volga.
I know I've seen that photo in a book -- hopefully, it's in one of MY books! I will try to find it for you. If I don't post a reply within a week, please remind me with a PM.  ;)

It is on "The Romanovs, love, power and tragedy"  ;)

Here it is an other picture from the section posted by Nadya:

Matushka, could this photo be from the same trip? I have it labeled as 1913:

THANK YOU for posting these lovely photos.  Both were new to me.  I wonder why just Tatiana poses with her Uncle Sandro?  Maybe she was a favorite of his ... maybe she reminded him of his own Irina.  The likeness is striking.

Not sure how "rare" this one is, but it was new to me when I found it.
