That photo is rather telling about the relationship between the Kaiser and his cousins, no one looks comfortable. They look awkward, etc. Most people have had those kinds of visits with relatives you would rather not see, but must- everyone stands around looking awkard  . Is that Alexandra and the Kaiser there, the two figures there?

Yes, it is well the Kaiser Wilhelm II who familiarly kisses his cousin the Empress Alexandra, as that was usually done between parents in the Royal Families.

Does anyone have the pictures also taken in Peterhof but on the beach? I saw a few in "Anastasia's Album", but am not sure if there are any more similar.

I remember reading a post of Lanie's a long while ago that said those pictures have not been printed elsewhere. Too bad, because they're so darn small in Anastasia's Album! Even if you try to scan them and zoom in, the quality is crummy.
