Yes, Charlotte was undoubtedly a very beautiful woman, kind and distinguished. However, I think she did not keep her freshness for a long time and until 1925, she seemed older than she really was. No doubt that motherhood, Charlotte has had 6 children, was partly the cause of early maturity.

I know that Charlotte and her family spent their WWII exile in London and Canada.  From what I understand, the official government in exile was in Montreal.  The future Grand Duke Jean and several of his siblings continued their education at Laval University in Quebec City (along with their Austrian Imperial cousins), but Charlotte and Felix seemed to divide their time between London and Canada.  What was the reason for this division of the family and the government?  How much did time Charlotte and Felix spend in both London and Canada?
