Hello, and welcome to the Forum, "LifeOfJudiasm"! I realize that you are new here, and that you have been recently very active in your comments. Some of your comments fall in the "Having Fun" section (where a little more leeway is given to discussion, perhaps something similiar to a "chat-room) and others of your comments fall into the more academic/documented/research area. I will combine my comments into this single reply here. You will come, in time, to realize that many (especially younger members) will accept almost whatever is printed here as the "gospel," and believe and repeat it, just because "someone said!" In that spirit, I would kindly like to point out to you that you need to re-read, verify and check some of your contributions (and use the spell-check as well). Surely you do not wish to mistakenly give others a false impression of certain situations. The following examples will illustrate your need to re-check:
"Having Fun!/Re: Reincarnations of the Romanovs", Sept. 06, your reply # 203: "Your saying she committed suicide and when they put her in the Aslylum......" SURELY you meant to say she (Anna A.) ATTEMPTED suicide. "Anna A." never committed suicide, and obviously one does not need to put a dead body in an "Asylum."
"Having Fun!/ Re Reincarnations of the Romanovs," September 06 , # 205 : "Wel how did she know of the visit of the Grand Duke Michael Alexandrovich of Russia that one time, she noted it, yet it was never known of that visit to anyone but the family." Unless I am badly mistaken, don't you REALLY mean the purported "secret" visit of the Empress' brother, Grand Duke Ernest of Hesse during the war years?
"Tsarevich Alexei N./ Re Remains of the Heir, Sept. 9, # 256: "The blood sampel was taken from Queen Elizabeth II and some one else....." If FACT, it was from Queen Elizabeth's HUSBAND, the Duke of Edinburgh. The "some one else" was the Duke of Fife. I won't go into why these two were chosen, you may research that for yourself.
" Fate of Alexei's Friends.....Leonid Sednev", Sept. 9 : Rather than a specific correction, just a comment. Probably you already know MUCH of this topic from another board membership, perhaps?
I would encourage you here at the beginning of your association with the APTMF, to research and understand more thoroughly your answers/comments rather than make outright declaratory statements that could/would mislead others. Good Luck to you! AP.
