Hello, and welcome to the Forum, "LifeOfJudiasm"!  I realize that you are new here, and that you have been recently very active in your comments.  Some of your comments fall in the "Having Fun" section (where a little more leeway is given to discussion, perhaps something similiar to a "chat-room) and others of your comments fall into the more academic/documented/research area. I will combine my comments into this single reply here. You will come, in time, to realize that many (especially younger members) will accept almost whatever is printed here as the "gospel," and believe and repeat it, just because "someone said!"  In that spirit, I would kindly like to point out to you that you need to re-read, verify and check some of your contributions (and use the spell-check as well).  Surely you do not wish to mistakenly give others a false impression of certain situations.  The following examples will illustrate your need to re-check:
"Having Fun!/Re: Reincarnations of the Romanovs", Sept. 06, your reply # 203: "Your saying she committed suicide and when they put her in the Aslylum......"   SURELY you meant to say she (Anna A.) ATTEMPTED suicide. "Anna A." never committed suicide, and obviously one does not need to put a dead body in an "Asylum."
"Having Fun!/ Re Reincarnations of the Romanovs,"  September 06 , # 205 :  "Wel how did she know of the visit of the Grand Duke Michael Alexandrovich of Russia that one time, she noted it, yet it was never known of that visit to anyone but the family."  Unless I am badly mistaken, don't you REALLY mean the purported "secret" visit of the Empress' brother, Grand Duke Ernest of Hesse during the war years?
"Tsarevich Alexei N./ Re Remains of the Heir, Sept. 9, # 256:  "The blood sampel was taken from Queen Elizabeth II and some one else....."  If FACT, it was from Queen Elizabeth's HUSBAND, the Duke of Edinburgh.  The "some one else" was the Duke of Fife.  I won't go into why these two were chosen, you may research that for yourself.
" Fate of Alexei's Friends.....Leonid Sednev", Sept. 9 : Rather than a specific correction, just a comment. Probably you already know MUCH of this topic from another board membership, perhaps?

I would encourage you here at the beginning of your association with the APTMF, to research and understand more thoroughly your answers/comments rather than make outright declaratory statements that could/would mislead others.  Good Luck to you!    AP.

Frankly, I think others understand what he was trying to say.  If you'd like to correct something, correct something that NEEDS correcting, please.

Call me thick in the head, but I didn't - until I read aleksandr pavlovich's explanation.

Thank you, aleksandr pavlovich, for correction of the things i have said. But i do know my history, as i have been studying for quite a while.  I said commited, of course i know she didn't really die of commiting suicide, i do no it was an

attempt.   Though i have made some mistakes, the mistakes you shouldn't be worrying about, you should worry more about what i actually say, like not punctuation but more actually what i am saying.  I am trying to get that through,

what i am saying, and i'd appreciate that you'd stick to that, and not to the mistakes i've made.

Thank you for the welcome btw,

Re Reply # 215: Thank you for your reply.  Firstly, since many of our members do not have English as their first language, it is essential for them, others and yourself to be able to clearly, concisely, and accurately express your thoughts. Secondly, this is not a guessing game at interpretation or what you MEAN it to be, as you know. Often there will be no second chance to get your message successfully conveyed. If no one helps you by addressing your mistakes, how will you know? I mean not only in the written version, but having also researched the correct (and documented) FACTS of your contribution. I am CONFIDENT that you will improve with practice, as I feel quite certain that English IS your native language.  And you are welcone for the "Welcome" that I extended!   AP

^That's what I'm talking about! :)

And A.P., many people who are on this forum do not speak English as a first language, so they also make many mistakes.  Just out of curiosity, do you do this to every one of them?

Yes A.P. I agree with Countess. She has a point. Why do you correct people? what fun is it to correct like that, you can hurt people's feelings, especially if they are not native to the English language.

I'm not saying it's wrong to correct, Shawny boy (or should I say Alyoshka), I just want to know why he feels he has to do so in the most annoying, (what is that word that eludes me at the moment?), stuck up way possibly.

Re Post # 220:  If one is correct, then one is correct,  if one is wrong, then one is wrong. Simple as that.  Being defensive will get you nowhere.  The resort to calling names, further degrades the impression of a person's character, and immediately conveys immaturity as opposed to their chronological years.     AP
