Does anyone have background information on General Aleksandr D. Nechvolodov (1863 - ?) beyond what is available online - wrote three books, including a history of Imperial Russia called "Tales of Russian Land" published I believe 1910 and which according to Amazon blurb was required reading by Nicholas II? He also wrote about Russian economics and then around 1923 wrote a controversial book called "Emperor Nicolas II and the Jews: Essays on the Russian Revolution in his dealings with them" It seems he also did intelligence work during the Russo-Japanese war and later as a staunch defender of the monarchy. I'd be interested in his family history, biographical information, anything. Thanks
Tom
