Nope -- real beer, real bottle. My neighbor got it at Trader Joe's, I think. I can't vouch for its taste, though. I don't drink.  ;D

Ah, Trader Joe's...the maker of the food of the gods...

And apparently Romanov-history-reading-bears.

Besides, we all know that the greatest minds of our time drink, right?  NOT.  He's special though.

:)

Now I feel inclined to stage a funny photo...but my materials are somewhat limited.

Speaking of being silly.  I'd like you to meet one of the silliest bears I know:

Flapdoodles

He tells us his usual  "Blah blah blahs,"

which is always the same:

"b-o-l-o-g-n-a"

which Trader Joe's probably doesn't know exists in our high class spaceships.

I try to see, not past the logic of the cosmic bear to the conclusion, but through it that I may be one with the world of Romanov Russia.

Now we just need a vodka-drinking, ice-skating bear...reading some books on history.  Not too hard, apparently, because the Russians do it all the time...

Silly? Some of us take it quite seriously! ;) ;D

</joke>

Actually I think I've come up with a new theory:

Mathilde Kschessinska, secretly an alien spy placed in Russia to save the IF, plots the escape route surrounded by all the missing family jewels.
