New televisual feast promised by the BBC
« on: February 29, 2012, 08:57:05 AM »
Hi All. Just read that the BBC are to dramatise Philippa Gregory's 'Wars of the Roses' novels. The series will be told from the point of view of the powerful women in her novels- Jacquetta and Elizabeth Woodville and Margaret Beaufort.
The series will be "one of the most ambitious projects ever attempted by the BBC".
Will make a change from all the Tudor flavoured stuff that has been on the T.V over the last few years and maybe this series will help raise awareness and interest in immediate, pre Tudor history.
I will keep you all informed.
Cheers. Kim

Please do! I love Philippa's books and it will be interesting to see how they do them. Maybe one book at a time or all interlinking? It will also be interesting to see who they cast as the characters. Thanks for informing.
