He's thirty-four if my memory serves me correctly. I was just struck by his expression in some photographs, Bale's definately good-looking enough to play Nicholas.  ;)

He he...Tim Curry...I can imagine him being Russian (Hunt for Red October anyone?) but not a Nicholas lookalike.
