GeorgeCl, thank you so much for what you already have posted! Could you tell us a little about your family history and about some of the people shown, such as your great grandfather? Also, as time permits, please post more photos!

Hi Janet,

All of theseimages come out of my Grandmothers albums..
Dont know 99% of the people..
Some my family Zoudilov and the other from Her first husband family..I dont even know there family name :'(

Just thought thes show a nice cross section of the life in Imp. russia of some well to do..

I have another album that shows the life of russians after the civil war in Harbin china..I'll start a thread on these as well..

here are a few more.

yes HERE! HERE! ;D

These pictures albums were hidden away for nearly 60yrs..

Found them after clearing out Grandpa and grandmas house in the city..

Lucky for me my Father remembered them a little.  And My siblings and mother remember some of the family stories told by Grandma and her sister.
Still piecing it all together, but with all this help on the forum i should have it finished soon..

George, the photos you posted are so wonderful and a really fascinating insight into life in Russia.  It is so fantastic that you have these pictorial records of your family; we don't have any pictures of our family and I would love to be able to see what my ancestors look like.

Thanks so much for posting them, and I know I would be very interested to see more. :)

Hi Amilia,

Sorry to say so , but no.

My father and I were plannig to go to russain on a vacation some years back..But He fell ill with cancer and passed 28 days later..

So I never went,  Do things when theres time, dont put things off till tomorrow..
