Okay, did they replace a photo of William with one of Frederick Windsor?  :)  I actually llike his darker hair (though not the photoshopped thickness) as it really shows his blue eyes.

Lucien & Douglas,   the new painting was at the NPG  when I was there in January. Very handsome portraits. If I figure out how my new scanner works, I will put the post card up.

Robert do you mean this one? -

I thought the artist made William look rather old in this one and I never noticed before that it appears that William has his father's hands like his father! Interestingly although Harry is in profile.....and very much in the junior, lower position he looks rather good and fresh faced! His hands look rather delicate compared to William's sausage-like ones!

Yes Ma'am, that is it. Well the Windsors do not age very well, do they? At least the men do not, it seems. Afraid I do not see any problems with William's hands though. Perhaps just my  lousy eyesight. Personally, I like the portrait.  It is very handsome.  The last few of the Queen and the QM  have been  rather, distracting, IMO. This is a traditional, formal portrait, as I see it and compliments them  both. Of course, I am no art expert, but just go by what I like.

I hate to say this, but I am going to anyway, and I may sound like a gossip columnist in the National Enquirer. Prince Harry does not bear any resemlance to anyone else in the Royal family. I wonder why ?
Has anyone broached this subject before ? I cant wade through everything to find out.

I am quickly jumping into my armour.
