Here is a intresting site about the Faberge Easter eggs. they do have some portraits

great pictures!
Those eggs are actually from the Imperial Porcelain Manufactury, not Faberge. Still incredibly beautiful.

Today I stumbled upon a treat (at least for me) when I found a Faberge book sitting out in the library I work at. I flipped through it and found a photo of the Faberge frame that Nicholas gave Alexandra for their tenth wedding anniversary in 1903. I'd never seen the portraits in it and literally gasped in surprise at my find. So of course I had to check the book out to bring home and promptly scan to show everyone.

Wonderful find! Thank you very much. It seems that at least OTMA's portraits, are inspired in the 1903 portraits by Kaulbach.
