Torino Olimpic
« on: February 05, 2006, 11:16:34 AM »
I know that everybody will support the sportsmen of Your country, but I would like to ask kindly support (moral support, of course, if you have no special sportsmen to support)
my best friends - russian olimpic figure scating team -
Irina Slutskaya, Maxim Marinin and Tatiana Totymyanina,
Tanya Navka and Roma Kostomarov and Evgeny Plyuschenko.
Olimpic games are most complicated championship and moral support of every person will be priceless.
Thank you very much in advance

Go Sasha Cohen!  Beat Irina Slutskaya!  Go Evgeny Plushenko!

And my ice dance favorites: GO SCOTLAND!  John and Sinead Kerr, woohoo!  TOP 10 FINISH FROM YOU GUYS!

Um.  Yes.  The Opening Ceremonies were great.  Disco fun for everyone!  Ireland coming in on 'Funky Town' just made my day. :)

As a F1 lover and great supporter of Ferrari I must say that Ferrari car on ice I have simply LOVED !!!   Same for Pavarotti singing the Nessun dorma (this tune is one of my favourites, I am always singing it). :D

As a huge figure skating fan, I love the Olympics.. Anyway, I think Irina Slutskaya should win, she has been through so much, tried so hard, and is just a great skater both artistically, and technically! I enjoy watching every skater though ( and not just at the Olympics either.. So Irina for gold! :)

Since they are your friends, I'll certainly wish them well. And if we are totally out of medal contention I'll actively root them on.  :) Fabulous to even make it to the Olympics.

And what a wonderfull sight it was,Marinin / Totymyanina,Gold Medals! It was beauty in motion.Allthough I must admit the chinese Zhang/Zhang couple was brilliant as well, dispite their "little accident"(that must have hurt!)a well deserved Silver Medal.

I am for Sascha Cohen, because she is so cute. Her Mother is from Ukraine, isn´t she? Sascha is really Alexandra and she has a very slavish round face like me ;D

I saw she live in Dortmund by World Championsship. She dancing Swan Lake and won silver!
