Also, NP Sablin appears occasionally in Romanov photos, rarely by name. I can't describe him  well enough to help.

He does indeed. I have a few photos of Sabline I can post when I get home tonight.

  Sarushka,

I'm at a disadvantage away from my Romanov books, but... Your Sablin photo prompts me to amend my post somewhat. I think he was a naval officer, not regular army. Knowing his rank would help confirm that. Also, his being mostly seen on board ships.

I also recall Sablin as being rather short and stocky, so your photo makes me wonder a bit. I' still accept your considerable wealth of knowledge.

How many diaries did she have? She didn't bring all her diaries to the doomed Yekaterinburg and Tobolsk. There's a possibility her diaries were retrieved in AP. Where are those then? I presume there are a lot of stories there. I hope her entire diary would be posted.

Amazing colored fotos  by the most wonderful Yelena Aleksandrovna. Endless thank you very much!

According to Royal Sisters of Mercy, GARF has  9 diaries from 1907 - 1916 belonging to Tatiana, with the 1911 one missing. The last entry is on 24/10/16. The exercise book she used for a diary for the rest of the year and into 1917, apparantly, she destroyed.

Thanks, Sarushka. To answer about Sablin -- wsn't he a leader of Yacht Standart? Or only a adjutan(kind of title)?
