I can identify w/ that.

First found the site by circumstance, like wildone mentioned one thing led to another.  A relative of my wife's, from Scotland, married a Russian and they both disappeared in the Revolution, never to be heard from again.  That search led me here and then to reading all kinds of threads that interested me for a long time, finally registered.

Now I try to keep up by reading through all the most recent posts every day, much to my wife's consternation.   Hope you enjoy participating here now as much as I do.

Hello everyone,

Thought I would say hello! I have been coming to the Alexander Palace web site for a few years but never entered the forum until a couple of week ago. What a wealth of information there is here and I am at a loss to say how impressed I am. I got into the Russian Imperial family as a young boy through history at school and the film Nicholas and Alexandra and after that I was hooked. I have read quite a few books but not as many as I thought as I see from here. I was so happy, if that is word, when the family were found and laid to rest and felt things were coming full circle at last.
