Where does one find here on this site a thread devoted to designing a bright destiny for the Children of Russia?
Like statistics and information on exactly how things are at the present time. I have some old statistics but they are from 2001, and I was very shocked and upset to know just how many children were being put into orphanges and classified as mentally retarded, in the main these poor children are the result of no freely available birth control for the women of the streets....if a site like this can be created out of the ethers then what about the same people helping the kids of russia have a brighter future.

Hi everyone!

My name is Alexis and I'm from Canada. I've been interested in the Romanov family for as long as I can remember... I'm pretty sure that my mom got the book "Anastasia's Album" by Hugh Brewster out of the library when I was little and that's how it started, but I'm not entirely sure.

Anyway, I've been lurking and reading here for about four or so years, so I thought I should finally join and introduce myself!

I've also been working on-and-off on my own Romanov website which is still a real work in progress, but here's the link. Click here.

Alexis - I live in Canada too! Your Romanov site is great! You should make a thread on it in the "Romanov and Imperial Russia Links" board. Were those pictures on your site coloured by you?
