Lieven and Margarita - thank you.  'OTMA' is certainly one of the abbreviations I've seen, plus some that are much longer, that I do know what they mean.

Any help w/ this would be most appreciated.  Thanks

Wow I guess I should have came to this thread first  ;D  Sorry!  I've already posted and surfed around the forum for so long (2-3 days?) and already learned a lot!  I'm glad to have joined a place where I can finally talk about the Romanov family with others!

Welcome to all our newbies.  :D It's great to see a good number popping up and feeling comfortable enough to post--and in many cases--engage people in some lively debates.

Barbara--just feel free to ask whenever there's an acronym or nickname you don't recognize. We tend to get kind of comfortable in just calling people by more casual names (ie Moretta for Princess Victoria of Prussia or QV for Queen Victoria) and forget that there are new people joining all the time.

In my mad rush about, I failed again to stop and write to you. I see at the bottom of your screen you have the picture of Helen Keller's teacher, and I believe Helen Keller as well. I had not seen those particular pictures before. Thank you for sharing them with us. They are lovely, and all the more, as both remained true of their hard fight with and for those with multiple disabilities.[Helen Keller above all else for her time achieving more than any other woman of her time, in fighting adversities, yet who went on to be a world reknown speaker, teacher, champion for and of impossible disabling issues. In my book, a heroine for centuries to come ! Thank you again.

Hello, I'm Annabel and this is my first post.  I am really enjoying this site.  I just wanted to let you know that I will not be posting much right now.  I am going in for surjery and will not be able to type (even sit up for that matter).  I will choining in when my body allows!!!
