Major  Jesse Carnes here.
I am a newbie on the list.

My best experience yet, besides writing
some OTMAA poetry for the list, is getting
a copy of Prince Michaels' N&A:TFA  from Germany
recently for a mere $13.

Hello!

I would qualify as a 'new' member! :)

I am enjoying myself very much on here.  I am learning so much, and it's great to finally discuss the Romanovs without being considered a weirdo. I have lovely friends.  ;)

Anyway, my name is Rachel, I'm enjoying my last couple of months of being a teenager before I turn the dreaded 2-0, and I am studying for a degree in English Literature.  I wish my degree was in the Romanovs, though, because then I'd be able to justify the amount of time I spend on here...

The people on this board are so lovely and helpful, so thanks for making me feel welcome already. :)

Hi everyone!  

Woo-hoo, my first post...I am so happy to find such a thriving and welcoming community here.  I'm already in awe of how much everyone here knows!    

Just a bit about me...I'm a full-time editor with dreams of finishing a novel someday.  (Yeah, that's what they all say, huh?)   I've been a Romanov nut since I was in middle school, after reading Peter Kurth's Anastasia:  The Riddle of Anna Anderson.  I like to frustrate future boyfriends by telling them I already have the kids' names picked out...Nicholas and Alexandra, of course!  No takers yet. ;)

I look forward to learning and sharing with you all!

Margarita--oh you bet!  If things start to go south, it's fun to play the "So I'm kinda obsessed with the Romanovs...that's not going to be problem, is it?" card.  Easy way to banish bad blind dates!
