Hi, my name is Emyrna and I recently started to develop a strong interest in Russian history all because of the beautiful family, NAOTMAA.  I came upon a article on a Latin American magazine I was reading a couple of months ago on Alexandra and Nicholas.  After that I was just hooked, specially because I could not believe what happened to them.  I am so glad to be able to learn so much from this forum.  Thanks.

I have already made a few posts, and have been astounded at the quality of the responses! This is an amazing resource on Imperial Russia and I am so glad that I found it. I am a UK based freelance military history writer with a long term interest in the Russian army in particular. Research into the Boxer Rebellion brought me here, but I shall be staying and exploring [and exploiting, in the best sense] this amazing place way past the completion of that particular task.

Yeah, Tatiana was my favourite for a very long time, then Olga just seemed to be a little bit.. well, different, I guess. I keep trying to find good photos of her to colour, her and Anastasia seem to be the hardest

I'm from India. It may seem surprising to most of you to know that someone in India is interested in the Romanovs but let me assure you that I'm not the only Indian who is fascinated by the Romanovs. It's a pity, though, that there isn't any undisputed claimant to the Romanov heritage.

Hi there my name is Suren (its an Armenian name) I've been interested in Russian history quite a bit recently, since it ties into Armenian history too. I feel a connection with Alexei and he quickly became my favorite Romanov as I did more research. I really sympathise with the Romanov family because my grandfather became a victim of the Soviet regime as well when he was sent to the gulag camps during Stalin's rule. I would have loved to see what Russia would have been like had Alexei been Tzar.

Hi Suren and Arun! I'm rea and from the Philippines a country where I'm sure only 2 out of 20 people knows about the Romanovs. If not because of the Anastasia movie I would'nt have known them either. Anyway, welcome to you both!
