I was scanning some pictures today for the board. I don't know if they are on the boards or not. As far as I have seen, I've only seen a few smaller of the ones I am going to post. For the sake of space, I'll post the links instead of the images themselves. For future use, I'll post any of my scans under this thread.

Well, I am great fan of the photos of the Royalties of the past (and the Romanovs). ..like the most of us who are posting here  .

Here is a compiled picture. The Romanovs - the Imperial family and their relatives -  in the end of 1860s...I looked at the picture and realised : I did not see before some of the photos from which the image had been compiled...



Possibly someone has the pictures (close-ups) I am posting below..or probably someone ever seen them. Possibly the pics are just had been lost or  destroyed or  buried at the private archives and collections.

I like the detail of Maria Alexandrovna with her daugther, she usually posed with a hand on her cheek, but not in this one.

These women and men are the relatives of the Romanovs. They might be the Leuchhtenbergs, the Oldenbourgs and the Mecklenbourg-Strelitzes (children of GDss Elena Pavlovna - she is seen at the bottom of the pic. Her spouse Duke Georg is in the background, behind 2 women).

Well, luckily the photo of Maria Alexandrovna (the Empress) is not a rare one. I found out that photo (only the face of the Empress turns to us).
