Glad to see Prince Philip out of the hosptial.

To address Douglas' remark. Remember he had a stint put in not to long ago. It is common to lower the immune system in that case to keep the body from reacting negatively to the intrusion. Also as we get older we don't urinate quite  so well or forcefully. That allows impurities to remain in the uretha. Add the 2 together and you are very prone to urinary tract infections (which hopefully do not lead up to kidney infections).

I seriously doubt the Duke is being treated for a mere bladder infection.   Males are not usually treated to multiple hospital stays for this malady.  Some day we'll probably know the real story.  He certainly gets around well for someone of his age.  The medical details of the royals is often shrouded in mystery.

No Douglas, there's not more to it then just this,a bladder infection. But at this age any serious infection can affect the brains fe,
and all the mess that gives. No,precautionary is just that.He can go in- and out of any hospital without showing his gold-card first
like other places on the planet. And trying to get this into the mysterious nonsense is way past it,it's not,it just hurts like hell when
he takes a leak..

OK - I just got a complaint about the above postings. Please try to be more civil and more respectful when posting about the Royals or about anyone on this forum. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect.

Thanks,
Alixz

A complaint?How silly!Allegations over nothing,that is worth a complaint,not showing it's just hullabaloo Alixz.
Must be a Rep...LOL....Really,way too far sought over nothing...

And it took a couple of days too,...really.More respect towards the Royals wouldn't do any harm indeed!

Agreed ! The Duke most certainly gained that respect. I think he lived this long is due to his constant exercise and fit diet.

I know Prince Philip is very close to his sister's families. How close they are with his grandson William ?

He could use the break--especially with his on-going health concerns. He's carried out a lot of duties this year. It can't do his health any good to keep running around to events--he deserves a much-needed rest.

Yes but for an active man like Philip. It must be jarring to miss the action. It could be something more serious brewing too I am afraid.

According to Radio 4, the Duke was in church at Crathie this morning.

A good sign.
