Communist Propaganda in Historical Films

I was wondering if there were many movies about the Romanovs with communist propaganda, because I've heard of the propaganda in the films, yet haven't seen it. However in Chinese movies about the dowager empress they portray her as this evil woman. In one scene a revolutionary says "if we don't kill that old woman (the empress dowager), China ends" or also there was a scene when the dowager says to a revolutionary that she doesn't recall doing anything to him, but he says something to the affect that she had, not just to him, but to all the people of China. Even to this day, the dowager empress is portrayed as this terrible, tyranical, ruthless & corrupt woman.
