Actually, I think that's May of Hesse, Alix's younger sister, who was born in 1874. Alix's face wasn't as round like that. She had more "thinner" features than May.

Is this the one you are referring to? (the above link isn't working). If it is, than it is most definitely Alix. Other photographs taken during this series include a few of Alix alone, the family shots, and the one of Alix, Ernie, and May.
