Wow Merrique.  Your stuff far outstrips mine!

I've almost got the first chapter finished - it's pretty long though, I don't know if the forum admins will enjoy having an enormous block of text on one page, so perhaps I'll post the summaries of each chapter here and the actual text on my own page(s).

:D

All of the actual text of Tsar Wars will have the following logo attached:

Very very clever Ivan S. Komarov, it could actually give some one the idea to create a real movie using such a brilliant poster!

Belochka enjoyed her acorns whilst being thoroughly amused from her lofty tree branch.

Will it be premiering at Palace Square?

This is great! I'm a SW fan too and I love it! Coming off the new Southpark turning Chef into Vader, which I totally called before it happened, this is so much fun!

Can somebody do Dmitri as ROTS Anakin? I think he'd look great and match up. PLease?

Whew!  The new forum looks good!

Now, no offence - but before everyone gets so far ahead of me that I'm hopelessly lost, I want to establish a few things here:

1, If I'm going to write this thing (which I have started already)...I hope to write it in a semi-realistic historical sense.  For example, it will explain the escape of the Imperial Family, with some help from actual historical figures, by actual means, such as railway and ship.

2, Although the story will stretch the truth (obviously the Romanovs didn't have lightsabers or whatever I'll call them), it will be, again, in a realistic sense; I'm not going to make a certain person resemble Anakin or Obi-Wan whoever, partially because there aren't the same number/gender of characters here.  You will, however, note a few similarities now and then.

3, Although it's fun to make pictures and discuss the music and stuff, I've not written the bloody script - or even an outline - yet!  Let me see where this thing needs to go before we start discussing the paraphenalia, OK?  Write first, edit later.

 ;)

I'm done.  For now.

Look for Chapter 1 within a few days!

I have  a couple of ideas, if you want some, since you don't have a script yet! Being funny is fun, but it would also be cool to include some real parallel or crossover things. For example, the Dr. Zhivago character Anitpov/Strelnikov is something like Anakin/Vader, turn to the dark side, change your name, no one knows it's you? And how about when Alderaan blows up, everyone thinks Leia is dead and they start having 'sightings' and imposters of the missing princess, then just when someone is about to claim her identity, she shows back up? Perhaps the best, real Star Wars tie in is Alexandra's devotion to Rasputin, though others think he is bad, because 'he has the power to keep the one she loves from dying' much as Anakin did with Palpatine, and it caused his fall (as it helped cause hers. I could elaborate on these (especially the Alexandra and Rasputin one, it gets really deep) or bring up more if you are interested. I think this is a great idea!

PS- I am on a Star Wars fanfic site, it's a lot of fun and we have some awesome stories there including a "Quantum Leap" and a "Carrie" crossover.  I"d LOVE to have your "Tsar Wars" Star Wars/Russian revolution crossover on the site, no matter what you decide to do with it! Please join the site and post what you have when you have it, almost everyone just goes chapter at a time and takes their good old time finishing them. You're most welcome here!

Thanks for all the suggestions...I'll see if I can work them in anywhere.

I will say this, though; there will be definite Star Wars plots, although the characters may not change quite the same way because, obviously, we couldn't have Nicholas saying "I am your father, Alexei" because no-one wants Nicholas to be all evil Vader-ish.

But the Star Wars will be there, and at points blatantly obvious - the first chapter (which I'm proofreading right now) will have references to Episode 1 that no Star Wars fan will fail to notice.

So...Chapter 1 soon!  I tried, too, to get the writing style of Lucas and the other SW writers...but, well, I didn't do so good on that so I'm doing it my way.
