If you don't know how the forum operates, then go read the rules. That's why they're there, no? I don't know why newcomers can't just do that--it would save so much time and effort....

Yes. At first I thought it was Olga too, but loking more closely at both baby girls there is no mistake. There are other pictures taken that day.

I too believe it 's Tatiana. If you go to 'Olga's Scrapbook' on Livadia.org, that picture is posted on her album, which is incorrect as the baby is actually Tatiana. I think that 's why a number of people confuse that photograph to be Olga, not Tatiana.

The Jewel Album of Tsar Nicholas II labels that photo (and its mate - pages 18 & 19) as Olga. However, the solo photos of Alix in the same dress, sitting in the same chair are labeled as taken in 1898 on pages 20 & 21. That's probably where livadia.org got the mistaken information. IMO, the date is correct and the child is Tatiana; Olga would have been nearly three years old in 1898.

You can see how much bigger Olga is, and also how much more hair she has than Tatiana.
