Thank you dear Ritka!

I want a new face that looks like I did when I was, say, nineteen.  Where is that magic lantern when I need it?

Oh, yes,  GD Anna and I are back from Aussie land down under as they say, mate.  But they pronounce it "mite".

Anna was busy the whole time keeping the amorous ladies away from my august personage.

One must  keep in mind that I, as Tsar and head of the Orthodoxy,  must at all times be pure and chaste.   This is of course since the dear Empress decamped to her convent east of the Urals.  Thanks be to Gott that it is way, far, far east.

Tsar  Doug.........on the corset diet today.

Oh no, GD Janet, I do not get involved with my numerous fans and admirers.  I send Rex out to collect a few coins and play the organ for the ladies.  It plays my favorite tune "Yankee Doodle Dandy".

Dear T.D.:

I'd be very careful about that tune you just mentioned. I do believe that Mr. Jimmy Cagney sang it and snagged an Oscar, but other usages have produced mixed results. In particular I recommend that you do not listen to it while consuming rich tea cakes. How about "Hail to the Tsar" or "Tsardust" instead?

BTW, if you would only draw the sash you would see The First Sign of Spring: Me in a diaphanous white dress, a flower wreath crowning my long, luxuriant tresses, as I dash about with a basketful of flower petals which I'm wont to scatter upon the lawns of Tsarkoe. 'Tis my annual celebration of the Infernal Equs . . . or something along those lines.

That's a great idea GD Janet.  The organ now plays "God Save The Tsar" and "Monster Mash".

Bobby "Boris" Pickett

Monster Mash ....big hit in Tsarskoe Selo this week.

I was working in the lab late one night
When my eyes beheld an eerie sight
For my monster from his slab began to rise
And suddenly to my surprise

He did the mash
He did the monster mash
The monster mash
It was a graveyard smash
He did the mash
It caught on in a flash
He did the mash
He did the monster mash

From my laboratory in the castle east
To the master bedroom where the vampires feast
The ghouls all came from their humble abodes
To get a jolt from my electrodes

They did the mash, etc...

The zombies were having fun
The party had just begun
The guests included Wolf Man
Dracula and his son

The scene was rockin', all were digging the sounds
Igor on chains, backed by his baying hounds
The coffin-bangers were about to arrive
With their vocal group, "The Crypt-Kicker Five"

They played the mash, etc......

Out from his coffin, Drac's voice did ring
Seems he was troubled by just one thing
He opened the lid and shook his fist
And said, "Whatever happened to my Transylvania twist?"

It's now the mash
It's now the monster mash
The monster mash
And it's a graveyard smash
It's now the mash
It's caught on in a flash
It's now the mash
It's now the monster mash

Now everything's cool, Drac's a part of the band
And my monster mash is the hit of the land
For you, the living, this mash was meant too
When you get to my door, tell them Boris sent you

Then you can mash
Then you can monster mash
The monster mash
And do my graveyard smash
Then you can mash
You'll catch on in a flash
Then you can mash
Then you can monster mash

QUICK! Somebody grab the butterfly net!

GD Janet got out and is dancing on the lawn in her night clothes again!  :o  I wonder what sort of "tea" they have been serving her?

And they speak of me like I'm the crazy aunt to be kept up in the attic.....    ::)

P.S. Have you ever considered that the reason we're still Claimants may have something to do with our general deportment, or lack thereof? Aye, now there's a thought!  8)

As I sip some of Janet's tea with a swig from the Imperial Vodka Flask in my cozy corner of the attic!

Hmmm, what was that? A shooting star? Or are my friends stopping by to pick me up?

That bright flash was GD Anna as she sped by in her new teletransporter on her way to see GD Janet.  Anna has so many blings on that she looks like the Milky Way at night.

Tsar Doug.......singin in the rain......

With all due respect, my dear T.D.  [ ::) ], isn't a teletransporter something that relays images electronically?

Yours for technology--
