Forum slow!

The forum is working really slow for me, is anyone else experiencing this problem? :-/

If you had done some reading in the "Improved Forum" thread above, you would already know that everyone, including me, has this problem and we've been tearing our hair out since yesterday trying to figure out exactly why.  The other sites on this new server all load blazing fast, so its some issue with this software apparantly.

Yes things are going a lot faster.

But......I still have problems sending PMs to my friends here. Two out of four times when pushing "the send message" button I get this pop up:  An error has occurred: 104 An Error Has Occurred!: Unable to open 3.txt or sometimes 1.txt.  :-/

It's quite annoying, this way I lost a lot of messages. Now before trying to send a message I save them first and try over and over again.  What does this mean and can it be solved?

Are there more people having the same problem?

I have to add that the problem occurres most when I reply on somebody's PM and not always when starting one of my own.

I have the same problem.  We have discovered that the issue is one of the server processor's capacity.  We had NO idea that when 60 or 70 folks are using the forum at once that it would tie up 85% of the processor's capacity! So, bear with us, we are looking at upgrading the processor hopefully this weekend.

That is good. I know Liam (Prince Lieven) has had a problem with PMs but then maybe we shouldn't gossip so much

Oh psh Kim, talk to him on Google or MSN, gossip instantly.

One thing I have noticed about posts it when you're posting, it adds the text of your post to clipboard, which is nice because sometimes my internet just dies and I hate losing things.
