Who are your favorites?
I enjoy:
Billy Gilman (one of my favorites is his rendition of "Little Bitty Pretty One")
Alabama (especially "Song of the South" & "Down Home")
Randy Travis (especially his Christian album- "Rise & Shine")
Kenny Chesney (especially "I Go Back" & "She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy")
George Strait
Clint Black
Dolly Parton

Jeremy Kittel is probably my number one favorite artist. I really enjoy his music.

But has anyone been to the Village Vanguard? I love going on Monday nights and hearing the jazz. Sometimes my dad plays, but a lot of the time we just go. A lot of the performers there are among my favorites.

I was teen in the eighties, so I like all the stuff from that era--Aerosmith, Journey, U2, The Cure, Prince, were/are some of my biggest favorites.  Also the Stones and Led Zeppelin, the Pretenders, from earlier.

As a child in the 70's, my parents listened to Merle Haggard,
Johnny Cash, Alabama, Charlie Daniels, Loretta Lynn, Hank, Dolly, Willie, Kris Kristofferson, Elvis, all the good old country stuff.  I recently dug out many of my mother's old albums and have developed a new appreciation for this music as well.

Garbage, Duran Duran, Courtney Love,  Hole, Nirvana, Green Day, Lifehouse, U2, No Doubt, Gwen Stefani, Britney Spears, Pink, Good Charlotte,  A-teens, older Backstreet boys, ATC, ( well, a while ago),  Smashmouth, and most likely some I can't think of at the moment. ;)
