There is one other line from Rudolf I von Habsburg over Wilhelm the Silent  to the Princess of Wales.

So in general there must be three Habsburg -lines to her (but all of them are established on illegitimate children... :-X, so I hope they´re right)

Yes,I know as I mentioned in earlier post that she-Victoria does descend from them through legitimate but I was too lazy to search for connections...and for no reason I am interested a bit in Dietrichstein zu Nikolsburg family I was searching their ancestry to see from whom Victoria descended through their lineage and came to Barbara von Rottal!

I finally found sources in the internet, where are written that the natural sons and children of Charles II of England are not so secure.
What concerns Henry Fitzroy, his Charles illegitimate son and ansistor pf Diana, I found out that  his mother Barbara Palmer opressed Charles to acknowledge the child. What a behaviour: She shall have said to the king to kill the child, if he did not accept it as his...and the king then gave her the will...I think these intrigues at the corts are terrrible. Barbara must have had a lot of other lovers at the same time, so the child may not be his, many doubt in his paternity, not only concerning Henry Fitzroy , also the others...strange. I do not know what is concerning the cases of James II. Is it similar there?
I have read that Arabella Churchill, lover of James II, who was also ansistor of Diana by Arabellas daughter Henriette Fitzjames, was a more "quite" lover (and maybe not so intriguos?)
Has anybody more infos on the topic?.
I have tried to compare Henry Fitzroy and Charles II and I am not sure, but around the mouth and the nose they are quite similar, but that it not a real proof..so... :-X
The most and (for me) most secure lines to Diana from the Habsburg family are over Ludwig IV der Bayer, a grandson of Rudolf von Habsburg, there are different lines...and some other over the Pfalz line , the "Winterkönig" etc. and Nassau lines...partly also natural lines :-X
But the thing about the children of the english kings Charles II and James is a bit suspicious to me...are there any other infos and opinions...please contribute ;)

Thanks for every reply or opinion...

Nieces and nephews of the former Princess of Wales
« Reply #20 on: May 15, 2006, 04:14:34 AM »
Hello,

I am looking for any pictures, which are quite recent, of the nephews and nieces of Princess Diana.

There are the children of her brother the Earl of Spencer: Kitty Eleanor, Eliza, Katya...Louis, but I only have seenpictures of them, when they were very little, but by the time they must have been more grown up, teenagers...and it would interest me, how they look like, especially the girls!

Then there are the children of the sisters Jane Fellowes, her two daughters and the son Alex., and furthermore the children of Lady Sarah Mc.Corquodale.

Are there any recent pictures of those children?

As I am often more interested in french and italian royalty, I do not have these infos, and I would be very thankful for any help, link, information, or sent picture!

Thanks a lot!

I may have some pics of the Earl's children, but I'm not sure how recent they would be :-/ ; I will take a peek through my 'archives' and post later if I find anything of interest.

Hello and thanks for answering, if you have pictures it´s interesting. Are the children very little there? I only know pictures from Corbis com, where there seem to be very little.

Yes, I would be interested if you post something here, what you find.

Thanks for replying or sending a picture.

I find this interesting as the Spencers descent over illegitimate lines from the Stuart kings, the early french kings and Rudolf I von Habsburg!

Please post anything! ;)

Hi britt.25.
I just wanted to let you know that I got a bit sidetracked last night and didn't get a chance to look for anything.  I will try tonight!

For me it´s something like an "Ex-Kurs" (I don´t know the expression in English...)

I am usually very fixed on the Bonaparte family the and Hapsburgs...

But I found Jutta von Habsburg, daughter of Rudolf I. (German Emperor) as ancestress of Marie Bonaparte and Diana... ::)

I had a chance to look through my files last night, and I am sorry to have gotten your hopes up. :-[
Unfortunately I couldn't find anything, and it's driving me around the bend because I know I have seen pictures relatively recently, but I can't remember where.  I'll certainly try to keep my eyes open and if anything materializes, I will post.
Sorry again.

Hello :)

It doesn´t matter, thanks for your searching, even if you did not find it.

I have pictures like this one, and it´s quite nice, but the children are much older now:

Are the pictures you remember similar or more recent?

Perhaps just a touch more recent.  For some reason I want to say that they were in Hello! at the time of Victoria's second wedding.  It has just occurred to me that I could have seen them at a book sale that I recently visited.
In your pic the children appear to be wearing identical sweaters with the initial of their first name on each.  Quite charming.  They're carrying on Diana's penchant for wearing her initial...

I have read that Dianas niece Emily(?) Mc Corquodale, daugher of Sarah, was sick with cancer in 2003. and I think that must have been very hard for her and her parents.
Has anyone any information, how she is today? Is she now well again or not? I hope so, as it is no three years later, she must have survived, but how is she??
It would interest me a lot, but I have no recent infos.

Thanks for any help or info
