That's ok Natalya! I was five when she died and I still remember watching the Earl of Spencer give his speech and my parents being so shocked she had passed away, but not really understanding what had happened.
Here are some shots from her Funeral ect:
Prince William, Harry, Charles and the Earl of Spencer.

Letter from Prince William to his mother in heaven.

Flowers that people came to give Diana after hearing the news.

The Flag at Half Mast for Diana.

Earl of Spencer - Diana's Brother - giving a speech.

The Car.

And another nice photo of Diana, Princess of Wales:

I've never seen that photo of Diana's parents when they were young.  She was always very pretty, but I only remember him as an older man (at Diana's wedding).  It's amazing how much Prince Harry resembles his grandfather AND Diana's brother ... not much Windsor in Harry, is there.

Some of Diana that are more formal:

And one that I adore because it's not so formal:

I video-taped Princess Diana's funeral.  It may seem a bit morbid, but I had to work on that day and US TV was showing all of it.  I admired her so much and it was such an historic moment that I had to capture it forever.  I still take a look at it now and then, especially as the anniversary of her death comes around at the end of August.  To this day I still find it as deeply moving as when I first viewed it  nearly 9 years ago.  It is really hard to believe she has been gone that long.  :'(

She was so beautiful. Are there any more pictures of her in the formal gowns? I think she looked very classy in them.

Nice thread, guys, thanks for the effort!  It's so nice to see pictures and read other people's memories of Diana without a lot of garbage thrown in.  Reading the thread brought back my own memories of her death and the funeral.  She IS missed....

Thanks for the kind words Prince_Christopher! Diana is definitley missed, there is no doubt about that. Posting pictures and talking about her good work is like a tribute to her.

Here are some close up's of the beautiful Princess of Wales:
