I don't think that man in the back is Alexei.  Upon close examination, he looks too old to be Alexei.  Maybe he is just some random guard who was caught on the pic  :D

All of these colored pictures are so beautiful! Just looking at the pictures of the Imperial children make me want to cry, because we all know what happened to them. These pictures represent a bygone era, a reminder of what was, and will never be again. At least we have these pictures to learn from.
