Tsaritsas' burial in 17th century

What do we know about the funerals and the burials of the female aristocraty in the 16-17 th centuries?...
And what about the widows?  the black color Was the color of the mourning?

According to N. Kostomarov, all relatives and servants of a deceased noble (male or female) in 17th c. had to wear black or dark-blue clothes during the long mourning period. The clothes had to be shabby and torn, wearing new-looking appareil was seen as disrespect to the deceased.
