I put some candles before they pics and pray...And - please, don't laugh! - I uses to sleep this very night with a pic of them under my pillow. Thinking that this very night, so much years ago, they were facing their murders makes me sober and sad. Odd enough, I never had dreams with them in these dreams!

I just take a minute to remember them with a moment of silence.
I'm back on my bull****.

I light a candle too and put it in front of my PC's screen, where I already had put on wallpaper my favorite of the family's 1913 formals. I listen two of the songs which remind me of they, while I was thinking much in several things about their live and death. After I make a silence's minute for the family and servants. Some days before 17th July, I make a flower's vase with one rose of different colors for each one of then (N's red, A's rose, OTMA's whites and Al's yellow). I'll use carnages for the servants but I don't find it...  :(  Anyway, they are in my mind in that day too.  ;)

I just remember them, say a prayer, read and look through my favourite book (The Romanovs: Love, Power & Tragedy). I might also watch Romanovy and light a candle .. if I've got one! :D

I'm always awake past midnight on the 16th/17th of July and simply make a point of consciously thinking of each one of the 11 victims of that night and  asking that they be blessed and at peace. I haven't lit a candle of remembrance but may do so next year.

Since I'm always in Morocco this part of the year, I don't lit a clandle or anything.  I never find time to be alone since all my family is there or come to say hello ( I live in France the most part of the year), so if I'd ask them a candle, they would be puzzled at me, and think that I'm a geek to do this kind of thing, especially for people they don't know. So I only think of them hard, but I can hardly sleep this night of 16/17th of July.
I hope, a year , I could go to Ekaterinburg and see the Church on the Blood.

I would also love to go see the Church on the Blood.
I usually look through pictures and books, and remember and think of them. I also stay up after midnight...
I like the candle idea and will probably light one next year.

Just like many other people, Ilit a candle on midnight. This year I simply sat there, looking at the flickering light, a picture of them before me.
