Hahaha... ;D "Close Encounters of the Anna Anderson Kind"...that's a funny title  ;D like it. It really drew my attention to the thread.
Nop, I haven't met AA (I was 3 or 4 years old when she died)...and I don't think many people here had the chance to meet her, that's kind of difficult ...or someone has?

I'm sure someone has.  No offence with this statement, but someone on this forum's gotta be old enough.

 ;)

Not that it counts for anything, but I live within 40 miles of Charlottesville, VA.  So...yeah.

Don't have to be that old, she only died in 1984. I was 23 then and I'm not over the hill yet!

Do I? Funny you should say that because it's my favorite place in the world! We used to always pass through it on the way to visit my grandparents in WV and I fell in love with it as a kid. I have always gone out there literally every chance I get, and I plan to go again on Mother's Day. It's beautiful, the valley in between the two mountain chains. I love going to McDormond's country store for cheese sandwiches, but I also like Ciro's Lasagna House and the Country Cookin in the Valley Mall. I like to stay at the Best Western on 33. My daughter goes to JMU a lot for band competitions too. I love Harrisonburg, could talk about it all day but it's OT! Lucky you to live there!
