Thank you, Clock and Holly! I've never seen those pictures before. I love seeing 'new' pictures of the family. I can't wait for the AP to put up Prince Michael of Greece's album (at least, that's what I heard they planned to do).

That's actually one of Laura Mabee's projects. She has her own site: www.frozentears.org. The albums aren't up yet, though.  ;)

Olga Nicholaevna in 1910


Nicholas II and his cousin Princess Nicolas of Greece during Summer Holidays in 1912. She was,
one knows it, born Grand Duchess Helena Wladimirovna of Russia.

I think it's basically the royal equivalent of saying "Mrs. Nelson Mandela." For example, GD Marie Pavlovna the elder is also known as Grand Duchess Vladimir.

Indeed! I have everything but some of chapter 9 scanned. (I'll try and to that this weekend)... I got my boyfriend typing up all the captions that go with the pictures. It's ironically an immense amount of coding with the way I am doing it (I'll be honest, I'm not that literate when it comes to CSS). I'll show everyone a screen cap of what it will look like tonight... At least, how it looks at the present moment. Looks may change...  ;)

I really gotta learn better then to take on so many projects at once. It leaves everyone hanging!  :-X

Really! I thought it was going to be on this site. And I'm excited that you're up to chapter 9. I look forward to seeing the screen capture, but most definitely the finished product. Thanks for taking so much time with ALL of your projects, Laura!
