I think Ian Mckellen did a good job protraying Nicholas and with Greta they had very good chemistry.  (Even though Ian is homosexual)  I did like the scene where Nicholas and Alexandra were remembering when they were splashed by sailors (I think it was sailors or fishermen) when they went rowing.   Also Rasputin had developed my crush on Mr Rickman.   That voice is so sensual.
