OTMAA Dolls?

I'm into this (expensive) doll hobby, and I thought that I can get some dolls to look like OTMAA!  So now, this will be my new project for a few years!  

I'm posting this here because well, it's about OTMAA, and I need help.  I spent a lot of time last night searching for a doll that looked most similar to one of the kids and this is what I've come up with:


Olga...


Tatiana...


Maria...


Anastasia...


Alexei...

I was most concerned about facial features.  Like for Maria, I looked for the "full lips", but I think I should change things around because "Maria" looks youngest!  Also I think if "Alexei" had the right hair, he'd look exactly like Alexei.

(And of course, there are different types of eyes and wigs to choose for them so I could get brown hair for them instead of what you see in the picutre)


What do you think?

IMHO, the first one looks more like Tatiana than Olga. Just look at her eyes and face.

Indeed, that is quite an expensive hobby (I have a few friends that are into it).

Those are pretty cool but a little too "heroin chic" (thin, pale.)  They do appear beautifully made.

Margarita Markovna - Well I suppose.  I posted here to get other's opinions because I know the members her have had more experience than I have, I think.  

Laura Mabee - Hehe I'm glad someone is familiar with them.  So then you'd know how fun it would be dressing them up in frilly clothes that the IF girls had  

CorisCapnSkip - Yes they are beautiful.  The only companies I know of are either in Korea or Japan.  All the dolls I've seen are thin and pale.  There are also 'tanned' dolls, but none of them have the look I want...

   Well these dolls that I am talking about are called ABJD - Asian balljointed dolls.  So far the tallest doll is 70 centimeters ^_^  These dolls are also easy to customize, with many different wigs and eyes to choose from.

I already have two of my own, but I decided to get more and make them into OTMAA.  That way I'd have my own little OTMAA to take care of =D

Also...how about I make them smaller/younger?  This time I focused more on height...


Olga...this one is 43cm, 17 inches.


Tatiana; 42.5cm, 16.7 inches


Maria; 28.5cm, 11 inches


Anastasia; 16cm, 6 inches


Alexei; 14cm, 5.5 inches.

  how small can you go! haha.  Anyways, what about that batch?  Closer than the first choices?

Aww, the Alexei one is adorable! With different coloring for Maria, that'd be a good one too.

Keep in mind that Olga was a blonde, Tatiana a brunette with some reddish on it, Maria a dark blonde and Anastasia a blonde with some red in it too. None of them had dark eyes, I meant brown or black eyes...

Oh wow thankyou.  I was going to give them all brown hair, but I will keep that in mind!  What about Alexei?  Blonde?

Dark blonde with some red in it!   When she was a toddler he had blonde curled hair, but later, his hair went straight and became darker...
