Are there also good books about Victor Emanuel III and Queen Helena?

I know of no coffee table book on VE III, Jelena & their family though I think that would make an excellent topic (and there are plenty of pics to be found of them). The Regolo bio of Jelena is very interesting but is not a coffee table book. There is another bio of her by Cristina Siccardi (who also wrote books about Jelena's daughters Mafalda & Giovanna) but I have not read it. Both are in Italian though.

The book Casa Savoia by Maria Gabrielle di Savoia has some good photos. It deals with the family from 1861 to 1946 so the focus isn't entirely on them. However, it is mostly photos though it's trade-paperback size rather than coffee-table book size. It's in Italian.

Princess Maria Gabriella also wrote Gioielli di Casa Savoia & Vita di Corte which are coffee table books but do not deal specifically with VE & Jelena. The 1st one is dedicated to the jewels of the House of Savoy & the 2nd one to court life.

There's the Fall of the House of Savoy by Robert Katz (?). I haven't read it myself though so I can't advise on it.

Italy and Its Monarchy   -  Dennis Mack Smith.  This was a great book.  I highly recommend it.  (Easy to find)

Try these as well.  The author is a very a interesting person.  Upon his death he bequeathed half a billion and yes half a billion to NYU.  He has quite a storied family back ground.

Bourbons of Naples (The)   Harold Acton (Requires some work to find)
Last Bourbons of Naples (The)   Harold Acton (Requires some work to find)

I also have that book Gdella identified House of Savoy by R. Katz, but I have yet to read it.  I think I located another about Prince Eugen of Savoy, but I haven't read it either.
I haven't found too much more.  If you do, please advise.

I have the Katz book. It has been years since I read it but I recall it has a good, consise history of the House of Savoy. A good background as the book is mainly concerned with the last 2 reigns.
The Acton books are obviously about the Borbons. Excellent reading if a tbit on the scholarly side. Yes, hard to find and costly.  It took me a long time  to find the second volume and I PAID for it!

The book has a rather small size and is paperback, but the book is well worth buying anyway - the chapters do have some pages of text and then some pages with pictures. The focus is on Vitttorio Emanuele III and his son Umberto II and their families.
